Awakening of the Xakra

There is a place among the Dunes of Voog Sanduldur as mysterious as it is dangerous [...].

One day walking through the Market, Zhari listens to a group of boys talking about the Grotto of the Moon, a large cave hidden in the sand, which is only visible every 7 Moons and serves as the entrance to the room of the Empress of the Oasis. . [...]

He decides to follow the boys, as he had heard that the Empress's room was home to a jewel of great beauty, a magnificent Gold Diadem set with a Sapphire.[...]

Once inside the room, the 5 boys notice Zhari's presence and decide that she should be the first to touch Bast's Diadem since they know the curse that falls on the Jewel, so they go inside and hide for an of the Galleries. When Zhari arrives at the Hall of the Empress, she sees the Diadem and cannot resist the temptation to take it. Upon removing it from the Empress's head, the curse affects Zhari who drops the Diadem, her hands beginning to blacken as she winces in pain.

The boys show up and instead of helping Zhari, they go for the Diadem. "Thank you for absorbing the curse for us" - they make fun of her.

They put the Diadema in a cloth sackbut as they try to go through the door, cascades of water begin to fall from the ceiling and through the galleries. When the water reaches each of the 5 boys, they turn into cats, who, scared because the room is flooded, look for the highest place. [...]

Zhari takes the Headband enduring the pain and puts it on with the intention of being able to catch them, save them and escape from there, but now the cats strangely obey her, as if they understood her words. [...]

The water level does not stop rising, overwhelmed by the situation, she awakens her Xakra forming a barrier around her and stopping the Diadema's curse, the cats that begin to dance and float around her become made of Xakra Aqua and Zhari sends them to find a way out through the water. [...]

She manages to escape from the cave but when asking for help from some merchants who were passing by she realizes that she has fallen silent, only the Xakra cats that are now following her can hear her.[...]
